Northern Ireland's Private Tenancies Act 2022 introduced a statutory rent-increase procedure for private tenancies: rent cannot be raised more than once every 12 months, the tenant must receive at least 12 weeks' written notice in the prescribed form, and the notice must contain specified information or it is invalid.
